In 2011 Circle-Interactive will be delivering a number of training courses in the use and administration of CiviCRM, the relationship management database designed specifically for the voluntary sector.

Training will cover introductory uses of all the core elements, followed by more advanced guidance on delivering services professionally such as event management from online registration to post event evaluation with CiviEvent, and supporting your client base with the case management tool CiviCase.

Our first one day course will be an introduction to CiviCRM on Wednesday March 16th with tutor Sean Kenny. The course will give an overview of CiviCRM use in small to medium sized organisations and in the first session will offer hands on tutoring in everyday Civi tasks:

  • Recording and managing information about your contacts
  • Extending records by collecting custom data
  • Scheduling, performing and logging Activities

In the afternoon we’ll take a good look at two key modules that extend CiviCRM and make it a drop in replacement for proprietary Direct Mailing and Event Management software. CiviMail and CiviEvent.

The cost of the Course is £200 & includes tea/coffee and print version of CiviCRM : A Comprehensive Guide.

Lunch is available in the Create Centre Cafe.

Students should bring a wifi-enabled laptop to participate fully in the proceedings.
