Business Development Manager

Fantastic opportunity for a strategically minded professional person. We are a small dynamic agency supplying high quality digital solutions to over 150 clients across the public, commercial and especially charity sectors and we are growing steadily. We are looking for someone who can grow with us driving business potential and performance.

Circle are looking for a Business Development Manager to help with the continued growth of our business, including existing services and new products. We work with clients in the public, commercial and charity sector and you should be comfortable speaking to people at all levels within a range of organisations. This is a technical business and you will be expected to gain a pretty good understanding of what we do. You'll need to have or develop knowledge of CRM in particular.

The business development role has these primary responsibilities:

  • Marketing our products and services

  • Identifying and nurturing new sales leads

  • Pitching our services to prospective clients

  • Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers

Sales and marketing experience is essential.  We are committed to recruiting a person with the right personality characteristics and commitment. Training will be provided around all our systems and products and you will be contributing to our sales and marketing plan with the opportunity to make suggestions for further growth.

Some travel is necessary (mainly to London) but this role will be mainly based in Bristol.

You will be an intelligent, professional, determined, and motivated individual who is not afraid to work hard to deliver results and enjoys winning new business.

  • Degree qualified or equivalent desirable, but not essential.

  • Intelligent, ethical and articulate with the ability to deliver a consultancy based sales approach.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships.

  • Good understanding of digital and ability to learn technology quickly.

Circle is a very flexible business and we try to fit in with our staff's commitments outside the office. We're therefore open to this being a part-time role with either short days or less days per week.

We offer support, training and flexible working conditions. There will be opportunities to attend conferences and other events. Salary will be competitive in line with experience (£30-40k basic) plus bonuses and pension contributions. We also run a childcare voucher scheme.
