Webmail Setup For Circlemail

First time set-up of on-line web mail service

You are recommended to do the following in order to make sure your set-up is correct. Please follow these simple instructions.

Your web mail address is https://circlemail.co.uk

1. Setting your personal information

Firstly select the 'Options' button on your webmail toolbar:

Then click the 'Personal Information' link under the 'Your Information' column:

Next select 'Default Identity' from the 'Your default identity' drop-down list and click 'Edit your identities':

In this screen, follow the example in the screen-shot above and enter the following information:

Identity's name: Leave this as 'Default Identity'.

Your 'Full Name'

Your 'From Address'

Then 'click' the change button.

You may have realised that you are able to have more than one identity in the system. If, for example, you use several different email addresses for the same webmail account, you could set-up more than one identity and then select between them when you create your emails. We'll leave you to figure this part out. Don't worry, it'll be a fun learning experience!

2. Handling deleted messages

Next, return to the 'Options' panel, and select the 'Mail' option under the 'Choose Applicationt' Column. Then under 'Message Options' click on 'Deleting and Moving Messages'.

You'll see the following screen:

In this screen do the following:

Return to the mailbox Select this option if you'd like to go straight back to your inbox listing after deleting, moving or copying a message.
When deleting messages When you delete a message you have the option of having it
immediately and irrevocably deleted, or having it moved to your 'Trash
folder' ('Rubbish bin' perhaps?). Having a trash folder is useful, but
if you'd like them to be deleted immediately then leave this unchecked.
If you'd like them saved to a folder, then check this box.
Trash folder If you've chosen to save your deleted messages, then you can create a
new folder for them here. Give it a name like 'Deleted Messages',
'Trash' or 'Rubbish'

Click 'Save Options'.

3. Setting up language and time zone

Next, return to the 'Options' panel, and select the 'Language' option under the 'Your Information' column:

Here simply choose the language of your choice.

Select your prefered time zone. This is important because it affects
the time stamp of your emails. You should set this to where you are in
the World, so if you move somewhere else, come back and update it.
