Apple Mail Setup for Circlemail
Configuring Apple Mail
Select 'Preferences' from the 'Mail' menu. The Preferences dialogue appears, select the 'Accounts' option. You will see a list of existing email accounts. Select your existing Circle mail account.
Change the 'incoming mail server' from mail.circle-interactive.co.uk (this may be mail.yourdomain.co.uk) to circlemail.co.uk.
Next enter your username and password.
Next we will configure your outgoing mail. If you are currently using your ISP for out going mail you may continue to do so (examples of these are smtp.virgin.net, mail.blueyonder.co.uk and smtp.bt.com).
If you are currently using Circle for your outgoing mail (mail.circle-interactive.co.uk or this may be mail.yourdomain.co.uk) then click on 'Outgoing Mail Server', 'Server Settings' and in the dialogue box enter circlemail.co.uk as the 'Outgoing Mail Server', tick the 'Use Secure Sockets (SSL) ' box set the 'Authentication' field to 'Password' and enter the username and password we supplied you and click 'OK'.
Finally go to the 'Accounts','advanced' tab and tick the 'Use SSL' box. Set the 'Authentication' field as 'Password'. (The image below shows a POP account, if you are using IMAP the port should be 993). Close this window and you are ready to send and receive via circlemail.
