Case Study: ShinerShiner are a wholesaler of skateboards and related products. They operated a retail web site that was difficult for them to maintain and update and their ongoing costs were higher than they could justify with the level of business it was generating. They were also not happy with the existing design or the service they were getting from their hosting company. We produced a new site for them which they could maintain more easily themselves and provided training to their staff to make them much more self-sufficient. With their costs reduced and their sales increasing, we have subsequently built another more focussed e-commerce site and a support site for one of their main products which allows users and call centre staff to locate the nearest retail store to a particular location. |
