Terms and Conditions

Definitions:

We attempt to communicate at all times in clear English avoiding unnecessary jargon. To that end, we use the following legal terms:
You means you or your company.
We/us/our refers to Circle Interactive.

Contract:

Your approval for work to commence shall be deemed a contractual agreement between the client and Circle Interactive and acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined in this document.

Intellectual Property:

You guarantee that all material, both text and images, supplied by you and used in the construction of the web site is your property and free to use without breach of copyright laws. All such material will remain your property.
We guarantee that we have the right to use and distribute all material supplied by Circle Interactive. In some cases this will be our copyright or intellectual property. In the case of some software that we use it is released under the GNU GPL and is distributed under this licence. In the case of some imagery, you will have a non-exclusive licence to use the image. You will always have a licence to continue using any system we produce for you in its entirety, although this does not amount to owning the intellectual property represented in the underlying code.

Content:

In the case of content management systems that we are hosting you or your staff have the ability to update content on your website. You guarantee not to upload to such sites any content which is illegal under UK law, which promotes hatred towards persons belonging to any ethnic group, religion or sexual orientation or which infringes on any other party’s copyright.

Pricing:

Any quote remains valid for a period of 60 (sixty) days from the date it was given. Beyond this period we reserve the right to change our prices. All prices given are subject to VAT at the rate of 17.5% unless otherwise stated.

Liability:

Under no circumstances shall Circle Interactive be liable to the client for any loss whatsoever suffered by the client as a result of any action by our staff or freelancers working for us, including (but not limited to) use of our systems, operating any website developed by us or relying on any information provided by us.
